Debut album "After Brilliance" was released March 2013. Recorded live a few days in the winter of 2012 on analog tape with minimal overdubs at Pieholden Suite Sound in Chicago.
 | Scuttlebuggs is a charming musical duo that originated in Michigan but blossomed in Chicago. The band is comprised of Kevin Golden (formerly of Beaten By Yuri) and Claire Kander (a squirrelly young lass who does voice-overs for commercials, among other things). People have likened their harmonious duets to The Everly Brothers, LOW and Simon and Garfunkel. The material oscillates from Pleasantville to Creeptown, with some angelic siren songs in between. Inspired equally by the origins of country, folk, rock and doo-wop, this duo offers modern perspective to classic sounds. Enjoy. |
